The Diver Solution™ (formerly known as DI-Diver) is basically a set of tools that allow you to collect, assemble and deliver information from many data sources in a user friendly interface.

The Diver Solution in action, this is a dive on Sales Region There are many methods available for collecting data depending of course on your data source. The tools pretty much support any type of data format for example: SQL Tables, Oracle Tables, MYsql Tables, and many more. The Diver Solution™ development tool used in this part of the process is the Integrator. This tool is available as a command line tool called the Integrator (integ.exe) or a WYSIWYG tool called the Visual Integrator (vinteg.exe).

Once you have your data collected you can then apply business rules to the data and assemble it into what is called a Diver Model. The Diver Solution development tools used in this process are the Integrator i.e. the same tool used in the collection process and the Builder. Again the Builder is availalbe as a command line tool (builder.exe) or a WYSIWYT tool called the Visual Builder (wbuilder.exe).

Once you have your Diver Model built you can then deliver the information to your end users. You have a number of end user Diver applications to choose from:

Single User Delivery:
Diver diver.exe. The Diver model and application are installed on a PC or Laptop and only one user can access the data.

Multi-User Delivery:
DiveLine, the client server application is installed on the server and Diver models are stored on the server. Advanced users may access the Diver models using ProDiver and casual users may access the Diver models in a broswer using NetDiver or DivePort.

The Diver Solution™ is supported on Intel (Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Linux etc), Unix (AIX, Solaris, Linux) and IBM iSeries 400 (OS400, Linux) platforms. Databases Supported are Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, Informix, DB2, Microsoft Access, Intersystems Cache, and many proprietary systems.
