DNN Modules

I'm using the following core DotNetNuke Modules on this page i.e. these modules come as part of DNN:

5 x Text / Html Modules
1 x Marketplace Module
2 x Adsense Modules

Five Text / Html Modules, surely not! Well I've got three in the left pane 1) "Get Started with Debian" 2) "Get Started with DNN" 3) "Modules used on this Page"; the fourth "Welcome to ICTkey.com" in the content pane and the fifth, a hidden module in the bottom pane. I'll tell you more about that hidden module later.

Welcome to ICTkey.com

Caroline Brady, Dublin IrelandWelcome to ICTkey.com. I'm Caroline Brady and this is my website. I am based in Dublin, Ireland and I'm on the Internet since the early 90's. My first websites were static HTML, and then later php with mySQL. I've also used Mambo and Joomla for some of the community organisations I work with.

The backend of this site is powered by DotNetNuke® and I will write about my experiences as I roll out this site to some of my start up domains and on an internal intranet. I've been using Microsoft Server products for many years, and therefore, DotNetNuke® seemed to me a logical choice to investigate as a solution for Intranets and public Websites.

You will also find information on Debian GNU/Linux specifically DNS and I will write practical articles about how to perform day to day administrative tasks.

I also work with an Information System called Diver by Dimensional Insight and eventually I will add end user tutorial videos and the bones of a Diver Financial Reporting Solution. Diver basically provides tools to extract, clean, normalise and apply rules to data from diverse applications (databases, text files, excel files, etc), build a model of the data, and finally view the data in a user friendly environment.

This website is in constant production, so keep checking back as I will write the articles as I roll out the applications. I hope you find the information interesting and useful. The information is provided free but please ensure that you fully test any solution I provide before you release it into a live environment.

I also produce "Caroline's Corner in Cyberspace" www.carolinebrady.com. This is my personal website and is about my passion for music, particularly the Blues and I write about venues, restaurants, hotels and things to do and see in Ireland and other places that take my fancy.

If there is something you specifically want me to write about then please contact me.
